Uploading of information regarding unpaid and unclaimed amounts lying with companies

Details of unpaid and unclaimed amounts

MINISTRY OF CORPORATEAFFAIRS is issuing directives to the companies who has not uploaded the details of unclaimed and unpaid amounts of investors lying with the companies during the last seven years, if any, on the website of the Ministry to upload the the said information immediately so as to avoid any consequences thereof.

Dear Sir/Madam

As per Investor Education Protection Fund (Uploading of information regarding unpaid and unclaimed amounts lying with companies) Rules, 2012, dated 10.05.2012, you were required to upload the details of unclaimed and unpaid amounts of investors lying with your company during the last seven years, if any, on the website of the Ministry. As per records available with the Ministry, such information pertaining to your company has not been uploaded on this website. If any afore mentioned amount is lying with your company, it is advised to upload the said information immediately so as to avoid any consequences thereof.

    since we started our company recently last couple of few months back and yes need to file IT return either we get profit or loss etc... so suggest us is there any thing we need to worry about this circular or notice.

    1. No this is for the companies who have declared dividends and are having unclaimed and unpaid dividends.
