PROCEDURE FOR FILING ITR-7
New Off line utility has been provided by the department for filing ITR-7. It will be a new learning experience as the utility provided is totally different from the earlier format. You have to download the utility from the e-filing website which needs special version of java JRE 1.7 and above for installing the utility. After installation click on the tab marked with “e” and follow the below mentioned procedure.
1.To Open a new Form Go to "File->New Form" and select the Form.
2.To open an existing draft (previously saved) click "Open Draft" in the toolbar and select
the draft from the path you have saved and click OPEN.

3.Please read the instructions provided at the start of the Form, before filling in the data as per print screen given below:-
For the sake of convenience you have to save the file frequently and after capturing the requisite data you can generate the “ XML” from the utility itself for filing on the site.
