Restructuring of the Income Tax Department approved with creation of new 20751 posts

Department of  Income Tax will look more fatter

Govt has approved the cadre restructuring of the Income Tax department with the creation of 20751 additional posts thereby increasing the staff strength by more than 35% for making the department more effective. Salient features of the restructuring scheme has been depicted in the communication issued by the HRD of Central board of Direct Taxes. The department will now look more fatter than earlier it was with more Commissioners, additional Commissioners, Joint's, Deputy Commissioners, ACIT's, ITO,s etc and Special Ranges.
