Participation by the directors in a meeting of Board/ Committee of directors through electronic mode

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has taken a “Green Initiative in the Corporate Governance”  by allowing participation by the directors in a meeting of Board/ Committee of directors under the Companies Act, 1956 through electronic mode

To support this green initiative of the Government in full measure, the members in the profession in which ever capacity they are must act in this regards to save the environment and avoid unnecessary costs.

The ministry  has as clarified in this regards vide its General Circular No. 28/2011 dated 20/05/2011 and has prescribed the detailed procedure in this regards. Detailed circular  can be down loaded from the link below:
